Farmington Hunt Landscape

     

Farmington Hunt Landscape was my first undertaking of a group of hounds. This painting is 20" x 60" and hangs above owner's fireplace. It is hard to imagine it's presence by this jpeg image.

I have been photographing Piedmont Hunt and Orange County Hunt since my arrival to northern Virginia. Being in the right place at the right time is an art in itself! Yes, I do ride and have been timid to go out since my first hunt with Rockbridge. Wonderful hunt and exhilarating territory! The large fields of rolling hills are luring me out.
