Classic Equine, I

     

"This is the first painting I started experimenting with drawing and washes. It ultimately has lead to many others as well as the basis for the idea with the Wall Hangings. The brush strokes are simple and in movement as if this classical horse comes right out of the paint. I expect to work this composition a few more times in larger sizes. "
