Virginia equine and portrait artist Gail Guirreri- Maslyk works from her century old cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains surrounded by wildlife and her Holsteiner Sport horse breeding operation. She studied landscape painting under Mary Ann Harmon, Janet Neiwald and Ray Kass at Va Tech. After many years of focus on just the breeding operation and then as a professional graphic artist, she now turns her full time attention to painting in oil. Her brush stroke is free and expressive and color always vibrant. Oil paintings are grand or intimate in scale. There is always new work available.
